Russia suspends imports from Belarusian dairy plant
MOSCOW, Mar 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight has suspended imports from the Sennensky facility of Belarus’s Orsha dairy plant, according to the documents published by the authority on Tuesday.
The service increased laboratory control of products of more than 10 Belarusian meat and dairy product makers earlier in March. It plans to suspend imports of a wide range of dairy products from Belarus but the date has been postponed several times as the veterinary authorities continue negotiations.
